Privacy Policy
Last Updated & Effective Date: February 2026
At Mod Pizza Menu (accessible from https://modmenu.app/), one of our primary priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document describes the types of information collected and recorded by our website and how we use it.
1. Web Analytics & Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, to help us understand aggregate traffic patterns, analyze which calculator tools are most useful to visitors, and optimize website performance.
- IP Anonymization: We have configured Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled (
anonymize_ip: true). Your complete IP address is masked and truncated by Google before storage, ensuring that individual visitors cannot be personally identified. - First-Party Cookies: Google Analytics uses small text files called cookies (such as
_gaand_ga_*) stored in your browser to analyze session duration, device type, approximate geographic region (city/state level), and referring pages. - How to Opt-Out: You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on your visits by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling the “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting in your browser.
2. Personal Information We Do Not Collect
Mod Pizza Menu does not require user accounts, logins, or registration. We do not solicit, collect, or store personal identifiers such as your real name, email address, physical address, telephone number, financial data, or credit card numbers.
3. Browser Client-Side Storage (LocalStorage)
When you use our interactive Custom Pizza Builder or compare items side-by-side, your active ingredient selections are stored strictly on your own device using standard browser localStorage. This data remains on your computer or mobile device and is never transmitted, synced, or stored on our external servers. You can clear this saved state at any time by clearing your browser cache.
4. Server Logs & Network Defense
Standard server infrastructure logs may record technical connection parameters such as HTTP status codes, browser user-agent strings, timestamps, and routing paths strictly for firewall filtering, DDoS mitigation, and ensuring operational reliability.
5. Links to Third-Party Websites
Our website may contain informational links to third-party web domains (such as official brand menus or regulatory FDA guidelines). We do not exercise operational control over external websites and encourage users to review the privacy policies of any third-party destinations they visit.
6. Policy Updates & Contact
We may review and update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technology or applicable legal requirements. Revisions will be posted directly to this page with an updated effective date.
